About me

“You can ALWAYS do more than you think you can”

At 16, Jerry traversed Iceland’s Icecap, at 17 Mont Blanc, at 19 the 75 classic peaks of the Alberta Rockies, and at 21 he earn’t his Green Beret as a Royal Marines Officer: his start to a lifetime of extreme adventure, repeated setbacks, and continual breakthroughs that continues to this day. Jerry defines the phrase “Resilience and success through repeated failure” - a broken neck…twice, a direct lightning strike, -30C avalanches, Himalayan tragedy, and the diagnosis of a chronic illness…

…this is Jerry Gore.

An example of one of Jerry’s many missions…

motivational talks & workshops

“His style is inspirational, and his positive attitude is infectious.”

No one lives ‘life on the edge’ quite like Jerry. And when you’re forced to constantly push barriers and overcome extreme situations, maintain a positive and focused attitude, and inspire your team to aim higher - all this develops resilience and leadership skills that become engrained.

In his motivational talks, Jerry shares his approach to leadership, commitment and emotional intelligence through his thrilling life stories and photography from his expeditions around the world.

Whether you’re a successful business owner or a smug teenager, be prepared to be blown out of the water and walk away feeling invincible.

global Diabetes ambassador

“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”

Since 2001, Jerry has proved time and time again that diabetes is NOT an excuse. Despite being told by doctors that his climbing days were over, he has continued climbing, supporting and advocating for diabetes. In recognition, in 2015, Jerry was invited by The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) to become a Blue Circle Champion. As an IDF ambassador, Jerry’s mission is to make a difference for the millions of people living with diabetes today, directly draw attention to this complex condition, and provide better health outcomes for people with diabetes.

CO-FOUNDER OF A4D

Jerry uses his personal goals to change the lives of others. He has raised over €500k for his charity A4D (Action4Diabetes). A4D believes that access to basic healthcare is a human right. It is the only NGO providing continual Type 1 Diabetes support to people in South-East Asia who would otherwise not be able to afford it. From humble beginnings in 2015, providing insulin and test strips to just 12 children with Type 1 Diabetes in Yangon, Myanmar, today A4D provides education and medication to 1,000+ young people with T1D in seven countries across the region.

Not only did Jerry deliver a fascinating insight into this exclusive world, but he also kept us mesmerized with a combination of spectacular photography and awesome tales of adventure.

What really dazzled, though, was the sheer range and variety of climbing experiences across the globe that Jerry was able to make vivid in our imaginations.
